chat.phy is the original chat system for the Cavendish Laboratory. It predates the launch of Microsoft Teams, and is based on the open source Zulip system. Your messages are stored on our servers in Physics, and are therefore not shared with any global corporations or governments they report to, which is better for your privacy, if that is important to you.
